Terms of Service

1. Operator and Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Careerwise. Careerwise is owned and operated by Dili Ltd, 133 Royal Arch Apartments, The Mailbox, Wharfside Street, Birmingham, England, B1 1RG, United Kingdom. By using Careerwise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and provide accurate account details. You are responsible for account activity and safeguarding your credentials.

3. Service Description

Careerwise provides AI-assisted career coaching tools, including Telegram-based interactions. Service features may evolve over time.

4. Billing, Renewals, and Cancellation

Paid features require an active subscription. Billing is handled by Stripe and may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle. You can manage or cancel via the billing portal when available.

If payment fails or a subscription expires, paid functionality (including runtime responses) may be suspended until billing is resolved.

5. Reactivation

If your subscription expires and you later repay, we may reactivate your access without requiring a brand-new account. Historical account data may remain associated with your profile subject to retention and compliance rules.

6. Refund Policy

Careerwise offers a 48-hour refund window from the payment timestamp for eligible first-time or renewal charges, subject to abuse checks and legal obligations. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. To request a refund, contact behram@careerwise.io.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with infrastructure, or use Careerwise for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

8. User Content and License

You retain rights in the content you provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

9. Third-Party Services

Careerwise relies on third-party providers including Google Cloud/Firebase, Stripe, Telegram, and domain/ analytics tooling. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer

Careerwise provides informational career guidance and does not guarantee job outcomes. Content does not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Careerwise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service period (typically the prior 12 months).

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, abuse, fraud risk, legal requirements, or prolonged unpaid status. You may stop using the service at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
